Kelty Trail Ridge 6-Person Tent Product Review
The Kelty Trail Ridge 6-Person Tent is part of a new series of tents (4, 6, 8), this is an upgrade from the previous series. It features completely redesigned vestibules, which are great for storing your survival gear.
It is a freestanding tent, which is easy to assemble and take apart, and means you can pitch it anywhere, on any surface. It comes with two main aluminum poles and one brow pole, which allows for a durable and sturdy structure.
It is a double-layer type tent, providing you with full coverage from the elements. Both the rainfly and the floor have a 1800mm waterproof rating and feature sealed seams, so you are guaranteed protection from wet weather.
In terms of the size, the tent’s rectangular dome-shape provides a relatively roomy shelter for up to six adults. It has steep walls, which help to increase the interior space and give you an exceptionally comfortable experience.
When you’re on the run from a disaster, you’ll need all of your survival gear to be as lightweight as possible. This tent folds nicely down into a compact size, weighing 15lb 10z when packed. This is ideal for taking with you in a backpack, and, if some of the tent’s components are shared between the group, it will make your journey even lighter.
